It’s been an intense beginning to 2011!
Laura and I are just returning from a wonderful weekend leading a women’s conference in Hayward, Wisconsin. We apparently brought the snow back with us- my friendly weatherman is forecasting 12-15 inches of snow in the next couple of days.
There have been lots of developments over the past few months. I’ll just quickly fill you in, and go in to more detail later…because, well, I am REALLY tired!
What began as a solitary endeavor is now a three fold cord! That’s right, Strings Attached Ministries is now made up of a TEAM of women! I am so excited to say that! I’m hoping to have bios up on the rest of team soon, and I can’t wait to introduce them to you! We are always recruiting prayer warriors, if you are interested in joining our prayer team, email me and I will send you the details.
Speaking of partnerships, I am pleased and excited to announce that Strings Attached is now partnering with Threads of Hope ministries to provide us with our signature Friendship Bracelets. Check them out! If you are interested in purchasing a SA bracelet from us, they are $2 a piece and 50% of the proceeds go directly back to the Philipines to help sustain economic growth in Puerta Galera. Email or comment below if you are interested in purchasing one of these bracelets.
We are diligently working on loading all my talks recorded so far to CD for sale and download. The first of these is now available on Lulu.com. You can purchase it here.
This year, Strings Attached will be hosting a series of local, one day retreats at Immanuel Baptist Church in Rogers. These will be open to the public so all of you who keep saying you can’t wait to come hear me speak, well, here is your chance. Be looking for dates and information in the coming weeks about those retreats!
I am sure there is more, but as I am totally unable to hold my eyes open, I’m going to have to call it a night. Thank you to all of you who make the dream of Strings Attached a reality! I love you all and may God bless!
